Dear Reader,
We all know that this world that we live in has undergone many changes throughout its history. Undoubtedly, we have gone through changes in the ideological, technological and other realms. The nature of man is one of a two-fold creature. We have both the desire to do great things as well as fulfill our own desires.
With that said, man has extraordinary compassion and also the ability to do very horrible things. Much like today, there have been wars and rumors of wars. Satan has been allowed to confuse God's people for thousands of years. Since the advent of the Internet, we see how it has been a tool to spread pornography, mindless entertainment and worst of all the religion of Darwinian evolution.
The Bible is the infallible word of God. It is it's own dictionary and it's own interpreter. Our goal is not to get caught up on one single verse and have an "ah ha" moment. In the same respect, we are not to look at one or even a few verses and try to nail another person with the "gotcha" tactic. We cannot accept the faulty premises of the macroevolutionists, lovers of evil and others whose lack of any morality or ethics leads them to falsly believe they have some sort of upper hand on the true believers.
We are to be watchmen. The Lord said that the true believers will know the time of the end (I Thes 5:4). He also said that God will be revealing secrets before the time of the end (Amos 3:7). The churches are under the wrath of God and have been so since 1988. Some will say that you cannot know specific dates in the Bible, especially the time of the end. There are way more verses in the Bible that say you CAN know verses the catch all ones that are sighted to shut down debate. Most of these people worship their church and not the Bible only.
God is building his eternal church and we need to be on the right side of eternity. I do not want to be talking to Jesus and have Him tell me to depart from Him because he never knew me. How terrible that would be! Just like in our other worldly pursuits, in order to succeed with God you cannot run off just because of fear. Taking charge over the anxiety makes you its master. Fear of rejection, failure, or not being liked by others is not important. With God on your side, all things are possible. He does want you to ask him in prayer though.
Remember that we Christians are like salt in a wound. If we are not out there agitating people for good and getting them to think about their eternal future, we are not doing our job of soul-winning for the Lord. God Bless you and your family.

Dear Reader:
On Friday, 13 May 2011, at or soon after 7:54PM (Jerusalem Time)
1) The significance of 21 May 2011 is in the fact that according to the new moon calendar for that year it is the 7,000th year worldwide anniversary of the Noachian Flood of 17 Iyar/Ziv(or the 2nd month) 4990BC.
2) And since it is the 7,000th year anniversary of the flood does the bible tell us the time? In other words, did the flood happen at daytime or a nighttime and (a reasonable question) should the precise day of the judgment day of May 2011 likely occur at daytime or nighttime?
3) If the flood occurred at night vs. the day, does the bible ever indicate that super biblical events have occurred at nighttime? If so, which ones? To name but just a few, lets look in the bible and see what could be found:
A) One such super biblical event was the night (or the nightfall) of the Jewish/biblical Passover day, 14 Aviv/Nisan in Egypt (Egypt shares the same Time Zone with Israel)
when the judgment fell on the Egyptian firstborns, but the Jews were unharmed, because they were, so to speak, covered by blood, and that nighttime was the beginning (or at the beginning) of the Jewish Friday and in accordance with the modern day calendar, the night of Thursday. But are there any other additional important clues? Well, it turns out that the answer is an absolute Yes!
B) How about the biblical/Jewish day of Pentecost of 33AD. Yes, and this super biblical event also occurred at nightfall (or nighttime) Jerusalem time. So, in Act2:1,2 it reads “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” This shows that this super biblical event occurred at nightfall, because it occurred at the time when the day of Pentecost came – it was the nightfall of biblical Saturday Jerusalem time (or the evening of our modern Friday), the 50th day. The indication that while this happened they were in one house makes sense, because it was nighttime and they like most people sensibly seek shelter at night.
It is then no doubt that the citizens of their neighborhood “were all amazed”(Act2:7,12), and so they were naturally amazed because it was already the Jewish Saturday – the day of religious rest – and no doubt special quiet of the Sabbath night as oppose to a common work weekdays. The neighborhood citizens should have expected their new Christian neighbors to be on their best behavior.
Then to reimburse that this event indeed occurred on Friday night (or the beginning of the biblical/Jewish Saturday) Jerusalem time, Peter says in Act2:15 “it is but the third hour of the day” – thus if referenced by our modern calendar for 2009, it is seen that the end of the civil twilight/dusk/ or nightfall (which describes the same natural phenomenon) was 8:00PM (Jerusalem time), but for 2011 it is predicted to occur a little short of that at 7:59PM (Jerusalem time) in Jerusalem. Henceforth, by a rough estimate of our modern daily Jewish calendar, the 3rd hour of the day meant the 3rd hour of the biblical Saturday (Sabbath). And counting 3 hours from 8:00PM clock means that Peter said this around our modern 10:00PM clock, or roughly some time after 10:00PM. But wait there is more, in Act2:20 as if to further indicate that it was indeed nighttime, Peter quotes something similar to Isa13:10, Joel3:15, Mt24:29, Mk13:24, but partially word for word from Joel 2:31, “The sun shall be turned into darkness” – so, lets ask ourselves when does the sun customarily turn to darkness?(Eph4:26 validates the clear significance of the dusk (or, so to speak, the new beginning, new day) in connection to the super biblical events even further: “let not the sun go down upon your wrath”).
Furthermore, bible does indicate that super biblical events tend to occur at “the selfsame day”(Ex12:41) – and so it stands to reason that when Christ died it was the 14th day, but not the 15th, and 50 days later (to “the selfsame day” Jerusalem time) the Holy Spirit descended – so, even though (Act 2:27,31) Christ’s soul left his body on the cross, his physical body was interned in the tomb right before the coming of Friday night (biblical Saturday), and so it was from one evening to the other!
3 days and 3 nights prophesy by our modern calendar:
Th(eve1) Fri(day) Fri(eve2) Sat(day) Sat(eve3) produces 3 nights exactly. And adding a 2nd artificial Friday (the fall of the 3 hours of darkness), produces 3 complete days and nights:
Th(eve1) Fri(day1) Fri(eve2) 2ndFri(day2) 2ndFri(eve3) Sat(day3)
Thus, when Act1:2 is examined in this light word choice and language make perfect sense.
And so as if to even further reimburse the point that it was at nighttime Jerusalem time that the Holy Spirit came in Act3:1, bible says that “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour” which seems to have been a Saturday (or the 50th day) daytime after the eventful night.
C) Another such nighttime event was obviously the birth of Christ in 7BC – this super biblical event is indicated to have occurred also at nighttime Israel time (and Jerusalem time), and the evidence for that is of course the “star,” a night occurrence, as well as other indicators.
D) Lastly, lets look at the events at hand – the Noachian flood which also seems to have taken place at the end of the 16 Ziv, or the beginning of the 17 Ziv (Jerusalem time if Act1:4, Christ’s burial and the Pentecost are considered to have precisely occurred on “the selfsame day” of each other). And here are the biblical evidence: in Gn7:10 “And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.” The key word in this statement is after, which indicates that the flood didn’t come before the 7 days (a whole week) were over, but interestingly enough, the biblical (Jewish) day does not start until the end of the civil twilight, dusk, or nightfall. So, this means that the after must have occurred at nightfall. And in Gn7:4 it is written “For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth”… Gn7:10 “And…after seven days…the waters of the flood were upon the earth” – Therefore, from dusk on Tue, 9 Ziv 4990BC our modern day calendar equivalent (or the biblical/Jewish, beginning of Wed 10 Ziv 4990BC) to dusk on the 16 Ziv 4990BC our modern day calendar equivalent (or the biblical/Jewish, beginning of Wed, 17 Ziv 4990BC) there were exactly 7 week days to “the selfsame day.”
From the aforementioned investigation it is conclusive that a super biblical event can occur at nighttime, because the Egyptian judgment, Christ’s birth, Pentecost day pouring of the Holy Spirit and the Noachian flood all took place at nighttime, or the beginning of the biblical (Jewish) days, and use Jerusalem, Israel time as a reference, “commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father”(Act1:4,12, which is the very literal and compelling prediction of the occurrence of the future super biblical events with the obvious reference to Jerusalem time). Yet, even though, in Act1:4 and12 the bible obviously uses Jerusalem as a time reference for the occurrence of super biblical events, it is clearly not the only time that
One must be careful with predictions.
Only God knows when.
All we need to do is to be ready.

I don't understand all the numbers ~ but I do understand that the LORD is coming. As we get weary in well-doing, we yearn for His return. I know He has been long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Pet 3:9). We all labor in love and evangelism until He comes. May I remind you that it does state in the Bible that no man knows the exact date of His return?? So I am unable to understand how anyone is able to name a date.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father.
Of course JESUS is GOD, therefore HE knows the end from the beginning. Therefore the What the Bible says...

It is true that Mark 13:32 says...
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father.
Of course JESUS is GOD, therefore HE knows the end from the beginning. Therefore the 'son' mentioned in Mark 13:32 is NOT JESUS!
Remember that the Bible uses the word 'son' to also characterize the son of perdition which is satan.

Going back to Mark 13:32, "no man knows"
Since JESUS asked us in Matthew 24 to read the Book of Daniel about the end times, we see in the following verses, that Daniel also wanted to know the time of the end, but the LORD told him that though the time of the end is in the Bible, GOD will not reveal it till the time of the end is near.
In a sense, in the last days, GOD has opened HIS WORD for us to find out when the time of the end will be.
Daniel 12:4
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Daniel 12:9
And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Why do people keep saying no one knows the day? 2000 years ago, Christ said "of that day and that hour, knoweth no man". He was correct, of course. He told the apostles it was not for them to know, and He correctly stated that no one knew. He never said no one will ever know. In other words, had He said, no one knows how to build a light bulb, He would have been correct. It didn't mean no one would ever know. The Bible clearly states in several passages that believers would know the timing of the end when that time draws near. God told Daniel the information concerning the end would be sealed from understanding in the Bible until the time of the end. In Revelation, we see Christ opening the seals. This information is accurate. 2011.
Regarding the "angels in heaven" (mentioned in Mark 13:32 and Matthew 24:36) - If THEY didn't know the day or the hour - but WE supposedly do now... then WHEN exactly did the angels find out? (assuming they know what we know). If Camping's calculation hinges on the end of the Church Age, then was there a synchronized realization "in heaven"? Is or was there such a thing as a Church Age in heaven? What does the Bible say about the passage of time in heaven anyway?

Why because in the original Greek The word for day(ennychous)means A GREAT WHILE BEFORE the word hour ( hora) means time or season the verses on day and hour in Matt.24 and Mark 13 can be translated or should have been translated as But of a great while and time before knoweth no man nor the angles in heaven neither the Son but My Father Only. I would love to believe that Christ is coming back in 2011, but I'm torn. I could witness to many more people if I live out my full life.
I think it was God's purpose to keep us guessing about Christ's return, because it keeps up focused on our first love - witnessing.
With that being said, I do believe that we are close. That's is why I'm studying the New Testament, and Revelation in particular.
It's time to really get out there and start witnessing, brothers and sisters. Nothing in this life matters more. What makes you or I special? We are being selfish if we keep this great gift to ourselves. We didn't deserve it in the first place. The least we can do is share it.
Having come back here once again to reread this piece, we all need to keep our eyes on Europe. Yes, the believers are aware and will be ready....but the world will not. We still do not and never will know exactly, but the signs are all there...Stay alert..And in the Word. And for sure, we need to witness to all we are able...People just do not understand how important this is...Blessings...
There's no place in the bible states the comming of the son of God, rather Jesus talks of him not knowing the day not the hour the trumpet will sound. the statement that he will come as a thief is a note that he will come as a surprise to everyone. What i know is when everyone on the face of the earth must have heard the word of God, then the rapture will occur. That is the truth of the Bible.

The fact is that it is impossible for JESUS CHRIST who is indeed GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF not to know when HE will return, and it is impossible for GOD's true elect, those he has saved to not know when his judgment day and the rapture will be.

In Ecclesiastes God stated that the true believers (those that are really saved) would "know time and judgment" start humbling caring to God for mercy, because 8 month from now will be the first day of the Almighty's wrath on humanity.

No there will be no 7 year trib after the rapture and NO there will be second rapture after MAY 21 2011.
After the rapture occurs on MAY 21 2011 all everyone left behind has to look forward to is death, tourment and destruction.
There will be NO second rapture after MAY 21 2011, there will be NO thousand year reign of CHRIST on this earth.
MAY 21 2011 is the day of the RAPTURE and OCTOBER 21 2011 is the destruction of this univers and none of it and no one that has been destroyed with it will ever enter into the mind of those who reign with CHRIST ever again.
I can't understand how Mr.Camping came to the date 4990bc as the year of the flood.
Although i did do the study and did find the flood happened 6023 after creation and i do understand how they got the year and the day of may 21 2011.

The quran mentions that Prophet Isa’s (Jesus christ)second coming will be on the day of judgement. Key words ” All the Messengers and their nations will gather before God and He will ask the Messengers how they were received by their people and what they said to them.”
Quran Surah Al-i-imran verse 45 and 46:
45. (Remember) when the angels said: “O Maryam (Mary)! May 21 2011 is indeed the day of the rapture and the begininng of judgmentday, God always warns before He brings judgment upon the land. God saids He never changes, He's the same yesterday,today,and forevermore just as He warned Noah the exact day of the flood and He gave Abraham and Lot the exact day of Sodom and Gamourahs day of Judgment and He gave Jonah and the ninevites the exact day when He was going to destroy/judge Nineveh, so why would He not give us today the exact day of the rapture/judgment and the end of the world? For those who do not think we will know, read Matthew 24 again. Jesus says he'll come like a thief in the night, but says the good man of the house WATCHETH and do not let the thief in to steal his precious things. Jesus also turns right around and states that you brother are not of the darkness, but of the light, so that THAT day not overcome you as a thief. Read it again, Jesus is telling us those of the light, his light, his true believers will know when the time is close and be standing guard WATCHING!!!! Stephen, My thoughts exactly. I vividly remember being in 3rd grade in 1957 when the first time I was told the world would end, it didn't and it won't now either. What will prompt the end is nuclear war over religion. That has a better chance of happening then the vengeful god coming back to destroy what he supposedly made. With all that is going on stop hoping for the end so you do not have to deal with it and start making a difference. Isn't that what God is all about?

I see one problem with this entire argument. Everything you guys have said is based on the fact that God is infallible. Everything he says must absolutely be true. "The Bible is the Word of God! Everything the Bible declares has the full authority of God Himself." -ebiblefellowship.com They then go on to state: "The Bible’s calendar of history is completely accurate and trustworthy." - I'm guessing that stems from the assumption that God's word is truly infallible also. Correct? Ok good. Yet, when I read through the Christian arguments presented by readers of this blog and other similar pages one theme seems to continuously pop up. The Bible contradicts itself in so many places. Now if God's word can never be incorrect... how are these contradictions happening? I've heard about misinterpretation during translation and the like, yet even in the original texts, these contradictions can be found quite regularly. Let's look at another bible quote:
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father."
Ok, sound straight forward enough. Yet, God's word is contradicting itself right there in one single sentence.
God supposedly exists as three persons but is one God, meaning that God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have exactly the same nature or being as God the Father in every way. Whatever attributes and power God the Father has, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have as well. Thus, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are also eternal, omnipresent, omnipotent, infinitely wise, infinitely holy, infinitely loving and omniscient. Correct? Ok.
So then, if assuming God's word is completely infallible, how can one entity of God know something that the other does not. "...nor the son, but only the Father". How is the Son, separate from the Father?
But let's look at it another way. The author of this text, starts out by effectively bypassing your will to really think about what is being said, by simply reminding you of that key point: "The Bible is the infallible word of God. It is its own dictionary and its own interpreter."
So, what this is telling us, is that if it's written in the Bible, it HAS to be true, there is absolutely NO way that it can't be true.
Then interestingly enough, only a few sentences later the same author states: "Some will say that you cannot know specific dates in the Bible, especially the time of the end. There are way more verses in the Bible that say you CAN know verses the catch all ones that are sighted to shut down debate." Putting his horrible sentence structure aside, I interpret that sentence as this author directly contradicting his initial statement, that the word of God is completely infallible. Correct? Not? Then read it again. Ok.
Ok, so immediately I hear somebody at home screaming: “It was divined by God, but penned by the hand of Man!” Ok, I can accept that argument. It makes sense. No human is perfect, so it stands to reason that mistakes could have been made in the initial writing. But if you also accept this statement, you’re immediately forced to conclude that the statement: "The Bible’s calendar of history is completely accurate and trustworthy." Is also very much untrue and simply presumptuous.
So by proving those two little “FACTS” to be quite untrue, your entire argument for the predictable date to the rapture starts to just seem silly.
I am not impressed.
Instead of focussing on a date (real or contrived) we should be focussing on the condition of our heart before God and our relationship with Him. Don't be distracted. Jesus is returning. The date is not as important as the condition of our heart and soul before God. Stop focussing on things that do not affect your eternal salvation. Only Jesus can save. 21 May cannot save you.
God will not tell us when it will happen because he knows human nature. People would go nuts. Always be ready, but don't waste your time worrying.
There is no way to know that May 21, 2011 is the day because Jesus said that no one knows the day or the hour, period, end of story! So if people are believers in Jesus, then why they don't believe what he said and set a date?
Besides the whole world has not heard the gospel yet, there is not wholescale persecution of believers such as family members turning on each other, people being arrested and brought in front of governments and synoguoges, yes it is happening in some places but not everywhere yet, and there have been no signs in the heavens. the sun has not darkened and the moon still shines its light.
Yes there are great earthquakes in various places, famines and pestilence, and wars and rumors of wars, but these are the beginning of sorrows but the end is not yet.
So we haven't gone through the great tribulation yet and there have not been signs in the heavens as well as the Bible in Mark 13:24-27 clearly says that Jesus will come for His people after the tribulation (see passage directly below).
24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
See Mark 13:14-23 that shows the tribulaton described in Mark 13:24-27 is talking about the great tribulation.
Personally, I don't worry about when the end will come as who of us knows if we have tommorow or not? But it my conviction that May 21, 2011 is not the day as we don't know the day or the hour so I believe what Jesus said.
Add on to my last post: I do believe that we are getting close to the end of the ages but we are not quite there yet and I don't believe that the fig tree talked about in Matthew represents in particular Israel, who has returned to their homeland, but it represents the events described in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and also Luke 21 and in fact in Luke 21, which parallels Mark 24 and Mark 13, says the fig tree and other trees when it refers to signs of the coming summer, an analogy to the end coming. So if Israel is the fig tree, then why does it mention other trees?
Anyway, as I said, I don't know when it will happen and none of us knows when it will come to be and we will find out when it happens.
The key for me thinking we aren't quite there yet though is when the mulititude of believers in The Book of Revelation is describe as all tribes and all tounges so don't all tribes and all tribes have to hear the gospel first? That hasn't happened yet.
The word "Rapture" do not appear in the bible, not even once. This rapture idea is a lie because it suggests that the Lord will snatch away the faithful and they will disappear without anyone knowing what happened to them.
Biblically, the coming of the Lord Jesus is a suprise not a secret and it would be a noisiest event ever, since the bible tells us that, "...the Lord himself will descent from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and with a trump of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first" 2 Thessalonians 4:16, see also Matthew 24:30-31. As for the tribulation, Jesus wouldn't warn us of it unless we are to go through it. He even says that the days of tribulation were shortenend for the sake of the elect, Matthew 24:21-22. Why shorten the tribulation time for the elect's sake if the elect were in heaven having a good time.
It is not knowing the exact date of the Jesus' coming that saves us but it is believing in Jesus Christ as in Romans 1:17, 5:1-11 8:1, 10:9-10, 2 Corinthains 5:15-21. So trying to pin point the dates is not as important as telling people about Jesus and the work he accomplished on the cross.
I don't think that anyone should claim to 'know' that Judgement Day or the world ending will happen on May 21, 2011. We all live with these constant threats of the end of days. I admist that I live my life as if it is possible, but not definite. Every day that I'm given a day on this earth I will do my best to treat my family and friends better and say "I love you" more often to the people in my life. I will give to others when I can, volunteer to help when disasters and tragedies occur and simply try to be a better person. Everyone is so focused on the end date, but I think what is more important is what you do with your final days...even if that day would come tomorrow.
Jesus saves, I don't think there is a date set, as everyone who knows has said before, Jesus doesn't even know the date, so how can it be 21st May 2011. This is false and will be exposed as false. For many the end of the world came already in Japan, pray for these people in Japan to be saved by Jesus for a day is like a thousands years to God, so I doubt it is one particular day of judgement. Judgement is already upon the earth and Japan at the moment.

I have just read most everything on this web and am amazed the misconceptions on both sides.Firstly the creation story hasn't been proven nor has evolution If the creation doesn't prove out then how can the Bible be accepted as truth especially when you consider that the dimentions of the New Jerusalem given in Rev 21:16 could be that of a cube or a pyramid? A cube would be one thing but a pyramid is something that associates with evil and Egypt. Egypt supposedly was the birthplace of the occult. Random chance evolution as well cannot be proven because it is impossible. The assumption the Bible is absolute truth is based on a decision made by someone years ago. The theory of evolution is a theory that may seem to work but if it cannot be proven could it be wrong?
Any prediction of the end would tend to indicate purpose any denial of the end tends to indicate no purpose. If there is a purpose to creation what is that purpose? If there is no purpose to evolution what keeps life going since life has really no beginning or end? The simple point is that the Bible experts should spend some time in science class and those nay sayers might learn something from the ultimate science book which is the Bible.
Maybe it is time to throw a wrench into the monkey works in that the creation story AND evolution both prove out. What would that do to your predictions of the end or your PREDICTIONS there is no end? Saying there is no end IS a prediction just as much as predicting a specific date. As a Christian, I am skeptical of this date. I fear that on May 22 2011, all Christians will look like fools. Every other date given for the Second Coming has failed and why shouldn't this one?

People are truly blind, and it will lead to their destruction, after all those verses that support the MAY 21 2011 date to be the day of JUDGMENT and the RAPTURE, and still they don't believe, may i remind you nay sayers, so-called christians, that GOD indeed has much to say about those whom have heard the warning but did not listen, but i foregot the verse tho.
But even after some proofs you still don't believe, that's your choice, but you will regret it.
Remember, God says He's the same yesterday, today, and forevermore, and if He told Noah the exact day of the flood, and He told Abraham and Lot the exact day of sodom and gamourahs judgment/destruction, and He gave Jonah and the nenavites the exact day when He was going to destroy nenavah, He also told Elijah and Elisha the exact day when He was going to rapture Elijah, the 50 sons of the prophets also knew when Elijah would be raptured, and also Enoch also was rapture when He was 360 years old.
So He has to tell us the exact day when He will rapture His true elect saved people, and when He will judge the unsaved of this world, if He did'nt tell us, that would mean God has changed, and we all know that is an impossiblity.
You people can disagree and not believe MAY 21 2011 is the day of the RAPTURE/JUDGMENTDAY, but you will soon see for yourselves, and you will enter into the day of Judgment.

I find interesting the references to the story of Noah's ark when attemting to date the "rapture". Would you not think that to draw a comparison to the story of the Ark that the event would be the same? If this "rapture" occurs who would record it on this earth? Who recorded the story of Noah's Ark? I suspect the survivors of a previous similar event would be the most likely to do such a thing since if you think about it those who were "raptured" would be gone. If this was a similar event and Noah was given a time what time would have been given to those who were "raptured" if any at all? Is it possible that those who survive may have seven days warning and those included in the "rapture" only know an approximate date based on events taking place throughout the world?
The way I read Ezekiel 5 and perhaps part of 6 is a very good description of the final events. Those who are raptured would be seen as having died of some natural or at least explainable cause. Next would be those who die quite violently followed by those who survive who live in a hostile environment until perhaps even they are gone. I suspect the actual events may overlap in such a way the distinction between them may not be possible. The timeline and timing could be very much clouded.
Try reading Ezekiel 1 from the perspective of that as a six year old seeing an amusement park for the first time and this is his report to class the next day. Most people would see this as some unexplainable scary nightmare but seen as an amusement park is very different. Revelation 21 could be a description of the walls around the amusement park or a city depending on your perspective. The dimentions given could also indicate that of a pyramid. Consistent with Ezekiel 5 this also divides into the three groups.Those who see an amusement park, those who see a city and those who see a pyramid. A pyramid is a grave where the body is preserved with the hope it can be resurrected and with our scientific abilities that may soon be possible.
The "rapture", armageddon and the apocalypse also divides the final events into thirds as does the thought of a "rapture", resurrection and survival. Noah's Ark would have also divided the population into thirds in those who were "raptured", those who perished and those who survived. Three separate events which to date may over lap and in fact may not be an occurance that are date specific. Any given date could be for any of the three events. Personally I am of the opinion the "rapture" is the first to occur in a noticeably obvious way and the timing of the other events could vary as dates are open to interpretation. I think that May 21 2011 would be a date to watch as the first for something to occur.(ie. "rapture"?). The next date Dec. 21 2012 something of a natural event which may include a "rapture" and finally sometime in 2015 something of a religious event which may be the "rapture". Overall I think no matter the date it would be wise to have your suitcase packed and be on standby. History does repeat and overall this world is not designed to last indefinitely. I think that reading geological formations on the planet confirms this beyond any doubt.
Nice way of scaring the innocent people.....why are the predictions not appropriate......it was said that the World is coming to an end in the year 2012 December 21st.....Why was it not written then that the world would end in 2011....If science has become so advanced then a proper and definite date should be given so that the people can spend more time with their family and loved ones and there's no need to work or send the kids to school as you people say that the world will end soon this year 2011.....All I have to say is I BELIEVE IN GOD and he would not let the WORLD END AGAIN.....as we say our Lords prayer "Our Father"...in that prayer it says "THE WORLD WITHOUT AN END" AMEN.
You would be surprised the evidence in the Bible for the date of May 21 2011. Also the dates of Dec 2012 and 2015 are quite significant dates that have been predicted. The world that will not end is not this one but the next one.If you want a date for the end of this world I would think 2012 is most likely as the events that could occur then would be most significant in terms of natural disasters. The date of 2015 would be likely most significant in terms of political upheaval or wars that sort of thing
The "rapture" has been the prediction for many years and has never happened. This is the most looked forward to actually by far more than simply the "Christians", but each prediction missed. Dates that were predicted for example 1997 and the year 2000 no rapture but things did occur. These predictions could also be significant but may not be the "rapture".
My concept of what the "rapture" is goes away from the conventional and although I look forward to it as much as anyone else, to pick a date and think that is the last day just simply isn't wise.I would say a prediction of May 21 2011 should be thought of as sometime in May or even maybe 2011. I think all of the dates are general approximations.If you want a specifc date My best guess would be 10AM MST May 21 2011 but that is a guess. Hopefully there would be an unmistakable warning on May 14 and even that would likely only be those caught up in the "rapture" that would recognize it.
There is absolutely no doubt of something like the "rapture" at some point. Is it as some believe as a new universe, a new earth or this world restored? Does that really matter? No matter how it looks when we get there it is like the Field of Dreams "Build it and they will come".The promise is that it will be there and to believe you will see it.

Beware the false prophet.
I normally don't respond to blogs but in this case, i felt led to do so...I have read this entire blog and all I have gotten from it is a broken heart. I am no "die hard" Christian, but I am a believer...a believer who was raised not to judge others, argue with others, force my beliefs on others, etc. If someone wants to believe in a pre-set date, so be it...why argue? I personally don't put my beliefs in what other people suggest or argue, I believe in my convictions. Do I know the date...no. Do I believe in a pre-set date...no. I do believe, however, that the "rapture," "second coming," or whatever you want to refer to it as, will occur in my lifetime, and I pray that I am correct. Will this happen, who knows, but I believe it will. In the meantime, I will watch and pray. If May 21st comes and goes, so be it...I will be thankful that we are one day closer. Anyway, I believe we should love and pray for one another in these "end times" rather than waste our time arguing...just a suggestion. I pray this post was well received and has touched someone. Predictions are tought to make, predictions about the future are even tougher
People, God is spirit, His words are spirit, and He must be worshipped in spirit and in TRUTH. The bible has nothing to do with literal physical things and events, it is all about what goes on within us, our minds. It is so sad everyone who believes the nonsense that a literal Jesus is coming back on May 21, 2011 for his saints/elect will be left questioning their faith when they are all still here on May 22, 2011. I agree, we live in very interesting times, but the bible is not a history book nor can it be used in such a manner. This date will be added with the rest of the failed dates. There will NEVER be a literal rapture and God will never literally set anyone on fire. The reason so many people believe their God will have the majority of creation burned alive for all of eternity is because it is a direct reflection of how evil and corrupt their own hearts are. God is love. It is man who is wrathful and murderous. Everyone will be salted with fire, but the fire is God. That is why He is called a refining and consuming fire. It is God and only God who cleanses us of our sins/ignorance of the truth, and He does it with His fire. Those of you saying only some will be saved, yada, yada, yada, obviously do not believe what is written in the bible you hold so dear. For it is written, ALL HAVE DIED IN ADAM, SO ALL WILL BE MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST. It is the same ALL people. For it is also written, GOD WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED AND COME TO THE KNOWLEDG OF THE TRUTH. Again, the word ALL, should be our first clue. But most would rather think themselves to be special and more deserving than others. That is called being puffed up with pride. There is still much leven in these people. The truth is, God loves us all and God is in control of us all. He is the potter and we are the clay. But many would rather form God into their image, after their likeness, instead of knowing it is God who forms us in His image after His likeness. So, bottom line, when May 22, 2011 comes around, the only people who will not be here will be those who have physically perished. There will be no rapture to a heaven in a galaxy far, far away. You will all still be here. And when you are, you need to seriously question all of the bullshit the man made religions of this world have been spoon-feeding you for thousands of years. Maybe then, you all will be ready to wake up the the real truth and that is, none of you are special. None of you are better than anyone else or more deserning of God's salvation than anyone else. None of you even have a clue as to what it is you deseperatley need saving from. You think it is literal fire when fire is what you need. All of you are the ANTI-CHRIST and you don't even know it. Your egos are sitting in God's throne declaring themselves to be God and you have no clue that it is going on because you are so deaf and blind. Maybe, maybe, just a little bit of light will shine into your darkeness when all of you wake up to realize you are still on this same planet come May 22, 2011.
I feel the need to say a few more things to those who truly do have ears to hear what the spirit, not man, is saying. For those of you, and there is many, who believe the bible is history book, go back to the first book, Genesis. Read about Adam and Eve again, you know, the so-called first two people from who the rest of us sprang from? You will notice that Adam was not created in God's image and likeness. I know, I know, it has been said and taught that he was for so very long, but the fact is, he wasn't. BEFORE, Adam was created, God said let us make man in our image after our likeness and He did. Adam was not mentioned here. In fact, the creation of Adam was not even mentioned until chapter two. And when God created Adam, He formed him from the DUST OF THE GROUND. That is, God made him earthy/carnal. This is why Jesus always washed his disciples feet, because they were dusty, that is, he was cleansing their ways/understanding as we all desperately need right now. Anyway, God formed Adam, who by the way was not one man, but actually is all of mankind, from the dust of the ground because this is how He subjected us all to vanity. Now, you may be wondering, then what about man who was created in God's image and likeness? Well, that is Christ, our true identity, but it has not been revealed to us as of yet. As of yet, we are all still DEAD IN ADAM. And what is the true death being spoken of here? No, it is not physical death, you are not your meat suit so let's seek a little higher understanding shall we? Good. Paul the apostle told us DEATH IS TO BE CARNALLY MINDED AND LIFE IS TO BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED. That is why we are told to put on the mind of Christ. That is also why I said in my earlier post all of scripture is about what goes on within us, our minds. So, we all have died in Adam who is actually mankind. That means all of mankind is dead. And the fact that Adam/mankind was formed from the dust of the ground declares this great truth. Think about dust for moment, what good is it? It makes things dirty, cloudy, and you certainly cannot grow anything in it can you? But think about what it is devoid of. The answer is water. Water in scripture is symbolis of God's spirit/truth. So with that being said, Adam is mankind(us) devoid of God's spirit and truth. That is why we are dead. We are have been subjected to the carnal mind which is not subject to the true law of God, nor can it be. And the true law of God is unconditional love. It is so very evident that the law of God is not written on a person's heart when they readily and passionately worship a God who they believe will have billions upon billions of people literally burned alive for all of so called eternity. Is that love? Would any of you praise a fellow man if you saw them set someone on fire? Anyway, mankind(us) in our current state which is death(devoid of God's spirit and truth) are here in this world to learn the truth. And the only way for us to learn the truth is to first know the lie. And the only way any of us can truly know something we must directly experience it. This world and everything of this world is the lie. It is the polar opposite of God and His truth. Those of you who believe in hell, look around, you are in it now. The greek word for Hell is Hades and the meaning of Hades is the place of the unseen or the place of the DEAD. Since we have established we are all dead, then it would be fitting to conclude the place where we are at is indeed Hades. And what is not seen here, THE TRUTH. So, hell is not something we need to fear about going there after we physically die, we are here now, all of us, together. And after God is finished with us, then and only then will we enter into His Kingdom. And where did Jesus say the Kingdom of God is? It is within ourselves. When we continue to look outside of ourselves for God and for salvation and for truth, we miss it all because it can only be found within. The outside is the lie and within is the truth. That is why Jesus said to seek the kingdom of God which is within first and all things will be added to us. But in order to seek the kingdom, we must first let go of all the lies, one being the rapture will take place on May 22nd this year. But I realize you all will not let it go until it has been proven to be a lie first. Like I said before, everything in scripture is about what goes on within us, our minds. The story of Jesus is our story. Jesus was crucified at Golgatha, which means the place of the skull. It was his carnal mind that was crucified. The story depicts his human flesh body being crucified because flesh in scripture is always a symbol for carnality. Right after Jesus's body died on the cross, there was a great earthquake and the veil in the temple was rent(torn) from top to bottom. That veil is the veil of carnality. Once the flesh, carnal mind is put to death, the veil of carnality is removed and the truth of who we are, which is Christ who was created in God's image and likeness, not Adam, who was formed from the dust of the ground, can resurrect. And the temple is also within you. It is in God's Kingdom which is in you. It is all about your brain/mind. It is our carnal, ignorant thinking that must be crucified so the truth can resurrect this is the only way to be saved. We are not to be saved from a literal lake of fire or a literal fiery hell. We are to be saved from our carnal, ignorant, death which we are all taking part of now. Anyone who's name was not found written in the lamb's book of life was cast into the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels. This is not talking about literal names. Name means nature. So, any nature that is not of Christ will be cast into the lake of fire. This is how we are refined with fire. Anything about us that is not a part of the truth will be consumed in the fire which is God. And that devil we have been taught to fear for all of our lives, guess who that is. It is you and me. It is our carnal minds/our ego. And our ego is who we believe and think ourselves to be in this world. Our ego says we have free will that is somehow apart from God, when the truth is, there is only God and His will and it is God who works in us to will and do of His good pleasure. It is God who forms some into vessels of honor and some into vessels of dishonore and He does all according to His will. Is our ego that tells us it is up to us to repent/change and to allow Jesus into our hearts to be saved. The truth is, Christ said no man can come to me unless the Father who sent him draws us. The truth is, nothing is possible with man, but with God all things are possible. The truth is, God is the savior of all men, especially those who believe. The ego, says a literal Jesus already died for us, therefore, all we need to do is believe and let some man baptize us in a tub of city water. When the truth is, the story of Jesus is our story and we must pick up our cross and follow him and where are following him? To Golgatha! We have to die, that is, who we believe and think ourselves to be in this world has to die before the truth of who we really are which is Christ can resurrect. This is the true SECOND DEATH. The fist death was the death of the truth and the second death is the death of the lie. It has nothing to do with physical death. We are not our meat suits and I can promise each and everyone of you that this is not your first physical experience in this world, we have all been here before. It is called reincarnation. Don't throw your stones yet, it is true, think about it! Anyway, what I have tried to do here is give you all a much needed drink of WATER. Most of you will probably spit it out, and that is fine. It is only meant for those who are ready to drink. We will all come to the knowledge of the truth in our own order according to God's will. The only date that is of importance, is the date of our physical death which is not known. Therefore we must be on the right path AL THE TIME- 24/7 before that time comes- when it will be to late. The bible is a way of life, teaching us how to live each day as Christians and not to tell us when the end will come. The end of what? Gods beautiful creation? Live your live as God descibes in His book. LIVE it by example so others may see and fallow. Just talking about the bible and searching for end dates wont do it- live it. Our gathering together unto Him will not take place on 5/21/2011. The Apostle Paul was very clear about what needs to take place before the Lord's return. There would be a great apostasy and the man of sin would be revealed. Neither has taken place, yet. I keep my eye on world news on a daily basis. I have not seen anything about the revelation of the anti-Christ. Camping says that we have been in the great tribulation for the past 23 years. Really? Jesus said that the great tribulation period would be so bad that it would be "such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." Do you really think that describes the last 23 years? The last 23 years for me have been relatively quiet and enjoyable. How about you? Also, both Joel and Jesus said that before His coming, the sun would be darkened, the moon would turn blood red, the stars would fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens would be shaken. Have you seen those things, yet? No? Then rest assured, the end is not yet.

Humble yourself, and repent, be prayerful, and let God does his Job, do what you are supposed to do: Pray, read your bible under the leading of the Holy Spirit, not as an engineer, so the devil will not have a chance on you, nor the deceiver.
Personally, the Lord asked me to be on my guard, the end is very soon, sooner than what we expect, He asked me to expect for it the next coming minute, but about the 21st of May, He just says, it's a lie.

The real danger of your post is that you mix a little truth with a lot of fantasy. Many people are not able to separate the two. The first thing I would suggest is that you throw away your little booklet entitled "Rules for Allegorical and Symbolic Interpretation of the Scriptures". Then read what the bible SAYS... not what you privately interpret it to say. Once you do that, I believe that many of your views will change to better line up with Scripture. Reincarnation? The question that is begging to be answered is, "So what?"
I know he's coming again, I know what he wants me to be doing. So what if it's 21 May 2011 or tomorrow or a century from now. Whether he comes or I dies first makes no difference. The idea of gathering together in our Sunday best, looking up to heaven with open Bibles in our hands on 21 May (as the "believers" did on Campings last-predicted date, is bizarre.
And non-believers are not going to believe suddenly because we have a date. They will believe because (among other things) of what they see in US! So I ask again, "So what?"
They say there is going to be the biggest earthquake. The Holy Bible states that after the biggest earthquake ever the first of the seven trumpets will sound. Revelation chapters 8 and 9 state the sequence of events after the biggest earthquake. What they gave missed is that during this time the two olive trees which are of the body of Christ will start preaching on the streets. At this time all ears will be receptive because of the devastating events. Because tge people of the world choose not to repent by this time the gospel is oreached to the entire glibe by the rwo witnesses cause their anger to be turned to the witnesses and force tge military governments of tge world to kill them on site and they shall leave their bodies on the streets for all the world to watch. On the fifth and sixth trumpet the devil his four generals abd millions of fallen angels will be released. These will go after the people that did not listen to the witnesses abd torment and kill men. Then there will be the remnant who will put up a fight against the devil and his angels when the seventh trumpet is blown the enemy will be defeated at the twinkling if the eye and the dead in Christ that were the witnesses will rise first followed by the 144000 remnant who are purposely allowed to be the last men standing singing a victory song as they see the coming of the Lird in the sky. So the rapture they explain is totally against any scriptural understanding.

Greetings to you all in the name of the Lord. I call all of you to examine and understand the scriptures as regards the issue of judgement and the second coming. In doing so, we should understand that there is harmony and consistency in the scriptures and there is no contradiction. To this effect i put across the following issues for your examination:
Firstly, in the book of Revelation, Christ informs us that there will be the crisis over the mark of the beast and that will be forced on the people of God so that no one buys or sells save he that has the mark. This event will happen before the second coming. This event has not happened and i leave you to research what this issue is all about.
Secondly, the book of Revelation reveals that there will come a time when Christ will cease his high priestly ministry and 7 angels will commence pouring the 7 last plagues on those who rejected the truth. The plagues will be real just as they were experienced in Egypt at the time of the exodus except that this time it will be world wide. These plagues have not happened and i'm sure you believe this.
Thirdly, on the issue of Bible periods, a closer study of the biblical genealogies will show that the period from creation to the flood is approx. 2000 years and from the flood to Christ, another 2000 years and finally from Christ to our time, its approximately 2011 years. This brings the age of this earth to about 6000 or 6011 years instead of the 7000 years in this argument.
Finally i want you all to look closely on the time prophecies. Greetings to you all in the name of the Lord. I call all of you to examine and understand the scriptures as regards the issue of judgement and the second coming. In doing so, we should understand that there is harmony and consistency in the scriptures and there is no contradiction. To this effect i put across the following issues for your examination:
Firstly, in the book of Revelation, Christ informs us that there will be the crisis over the mark of the beast and that will be forced on the people of God so that no one buys or sells save he that has the mark. This event will happen before the second coming. This event has not happened and i leave you to research what this issue is all about.
Secondly, the book of Revelation reveals that there will come a time when Christ will cease his high priestly ministry and 7 angels will commence pouring the 7 last plagues on those who rejected the truth. The plagues will be real just as they were experienced in Egypt at the time of the exodus except that this time it will be world wide. These plagues have not happened and i'm sure you believe this.
Thirdly, on the issue of Bible periods, a closer study of the biblical genealogies will show that the period from creation to the flood is approx. 2000 years and from the flood to Christ, another 2000 years and finally from Christ to our time, its approximately 2011 years. Ok, so all the math is based on some speculation, I have looked into it an you could come to many conclusions. However, as I do not take the words literally as the bible was an oral tradition for many years, written, rewritten, translated, an had a counsel to decide its final form. I find it hard to take the words as written as fact. I do believe that the universe is over 13 billion years old, the earth is over 5 billion years old, and humans (Homo Sapiens) have been around 200,000 years. I do not believe the earth is a few thousand years old nor do I believe that a book of stories, stories mind you that have no factual base and are only found in the bible, torah, and koran and not in any nonreligious historical documents will tell me when the universe will end. You can believe whatever you like, I mean there was that cult that thought the mother ship was coming to take them. And there are all kinds of zealous nuts out there wanting you to follow them, funny thing is while I call them crazy they think I'm the one who is doomed to burn in hell unless I follow them. I have no idea why ALL Christians are so upset with Harold Camping and Family Stations. It’s funny how we Christians fight amongst ourselves. Look at all the Christian Denominations we all use the same Bible and each denomination interprets it differently. So before calling Harold Camping false Prophet Look at your own Church taught beliefs and compare them throughout the entire scripture. I do believe you will find the majority of Churches should be considered False Prophets and teachers of a false Gospel.

Search the scriptures for yourself and ask God for guidance to lead you in the direction of truth. I will not lay out any scriptures for you, but if you are being honest with yourself and want to know truth you will allow the Holy Spirit to open your heart.
Can you back any of these Teachings with the Bible verses and make sure they do not contradict with other parts of the Bible?

I'm only 14 and I heard about this from my friend who heard it on the radio. I'm really scared about this because, even though I am a Christian, and I do believe, I don't know if I've done good enough. I don't know whether this day will be the day of the rapture, but it scares me so much to think about it. I don't know what to do. It makes sense, but then it doesn't. Ugh! I have one son, and if he stopped loving me and moved away and never spoke to me again, I would be terribly sad, but I would still love him. I would not wish for him to be destroyed because he didn't love me. And supposedly my love is not as great as God's. And by looking for the "bible Code" is taking everything God said and saying "Okay God. I'm sorry, but it's not happening. Hoe many times have people gone and said "Omg the end is near" then the dates comes and goes and we're still here? Then some dumb explanation comes up as to why the world didn't end when predicted. I'm not a religious person at all, nor do I follow your Lord. However, I have read the Bible and such and considering in the last book, Revelations, it clearly states that no one but God himself will know of the second coming of Jesus and whatnot. Some guy probably started making these claims to make his church attendance higher, by scaring people. I'm sure most of you said the same thing about no one knowing about the second coming of Jesus when the 2012 predictions came out. But now all of a sudden it has to do with the Bible telling you its going to end when that book is full of contradictions? The Angels are all terribly excited and Gabriel has been sharpening his sword all day and mumbling about heads rolling. The only Angel who's hoping to outdo him in the lopping of heads department is ol' Loki who's sword is so sharp he managed to slice one of the Cheribum in two by mistake.
Other than that it's really all going according to plan and Dad (Me) is sooooo excited about it all. It has after all taken Us thousands of years to plan this bash and now we'll see the fruits of our labour.
Old Nick seems to think that he'll be in the pound seats with all the unsaved souls he's due, but Dad and I have a special treat for Him. We're all fired up for a little Devil barbeque and we'll be making sure he doesn't have any fun.

am A Christian and I did not post here to argue. Just wanted to say that there is no Trinity on the bible, so there is NO God the Father,NO God the Son nor God The Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Son of God and was conceived through Mary by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said once to He's Father, that, what He wants (pertaining to His Father), is the one that should be made happen. 2nd, No God dies..Our Lord Jesus did die on the cross (death is relevant to beings in this world), and was the ONLY man who did not sin...for Jesus was conceived through the Holy spirit to serve as a "messenger" of God to spread His word... I also remembered that our Lord Jesus said to His apostoles after His death when he risen up, He said to His apostoles, look at my wounds (those created by nails on His cross) a God has NO FLESH, nor BONES like what you see in me now...He did ironically stated that he is not God. Coz He did pointed out the differences of God from Him...I strongly believe that Our Lords second coming was clearly stated that it will be a surprise, and ofcourse we have to stand guard..Because it was also written in the book of ACTS that as we are young, we had the liberty to do whatever we want but we have to know that our ACTS our always following us, and those ACTS will be the witness on judgment day, when we stand infront of Our Lord. The coming of Our Lord will surely come with signs that He already said, and we are now witnessing. It was also written that upon He's coming back, there will be a blowing of the horn that will be heard by all...although we will not know when & what exact time will be blown... always remember it was written in the Bible, Gods words are hidden in mystery..He will not let anyone know when the judgement day will be..If He said so. Okay. Here is the deal. You have to be ready all the time for the rapture. But no one. And again NO ONE knows when it’s going down. Only God knows. Also it is not 7000 years since Noah. If you click on his countdown web page (currently one day left until he and his followers get 'raptured') http://www.familyradio.com/index2.html you will see he has the Date: May 21, 2011. He also says: "The Bible Guarantees It".
That is blasphemy. The Bible doesn't guarantee that date as some sort of rapture date. This is Harold Camping's 'rapture' date.
Every person is entitled to his 'opinion'. Harold Camping is entitled to make any sort of statement he would like to on his web site.
But, be truthful, Harold. Say this: "Harold Camping guarantees it". Don't sell your ideas under the guise "The Bible Guarantees It". Don't drag the Holy Book down by coming up with your own ideas and then claiming the Bible Guarantees It. You're a disgrace to God's Word with that bold, egotistical proclamation.
Don't tie God's Holy Book in with your made up theories, assumptions, proclamations, and desires. You're not a watchman for God's Word or his prophecies. You're a watchman for your own selfish interests. And that is downright wrong.

To buy such salvation through monetary means is one thing, and then to dedicate and attribute such hope and faith to a giant lie is quite a sad reality. I don't know how I'll react when the Rapture doesn't come tomorrow and these people have waste so much energy, time, faith and money listening to false prophets. I think it will be a feeling of pity and melancholy, as the sound of hundreds of millions of peoples souls cracking a tiny bit will just deafen everyone.
Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and religion is a wonderful thing, but to say it is infallible and the one truth and that other non-believers are foolish is rather bias. As well, to globally commend damnation to otherwise innocent people isn't exactly the nicest message for religious people to be sending out.
You should be careful, because when the Rapture doesn't arrive on the 21st, and everyone is still the same and your own prophecies are being proven wrong, all that is happening is your truth is becoming less and less accurate. Preaching from the pedestal is a tricky business and I can't help but think you guys are going to shoot yourselves in the feet very, very soon and then you'll be crawling around everywhere.
Relax, believe what you want, but you're only making a mockery out of your wonderful religion by being so self-important and egoistic. And, read your own holy scripture. As for "miracals", well have you read up on the miracals that happen in other religions with multiple deities? Have you read about the miracals that happen to atheists?
Would we have the ability to learn and learn and evolve if God wanted us to remain obedient to his magic apples and talking serpents?
So many questions, no evidence except vague answers like "listen to your heart" and "open your soul to jesus"

As Christians we do not need to argue over when the rapture of the church will be. Instead, let us focus on loving others as Christ has loved us. Let us show the world while we are still in it what the love of Christ is. It is not judgement of others, it is not condemnation, it is not a "holier than thou attitude".
The love of Christ is reaching out to help others, no matter their creed, color, religion or sexual preference. Let Christ take care of the rapture and when he will come for us. Let us take care of others by showing them love, consideration, mercy, helping them, doing what we can to make this a better world for all while we are yet left in the world. Showing others love, no matter who they are, is one way of being ready for the rapture when it does occur.

And another thing. All the biblical studies tells us that the world is round about 6000 years old. but if you look at the equation 4990(year of the great flood) + 2011 – 1 = 7,000 and add 1056 (from the year Adam was created up to the year Noah was born) that adds up to 8056 years since God created everything? So if you take the part where a 1000 years for us is but one year to God. Then God is back on Monday. So we can assume that this is the 1000 years of peace that is promised in Revelations. Meaning the rapture already happened. And then we can dismiss everything Jesus said in the book of Mark as not true. Well its the 21 of may today, and so far, ive got nothing. two of the three predicted times have come, and nothing has happened. im skeptical. to be honest, i think humanity will end when our rescources are used up, we consume ourselves in war, or the sun fries us. i dont beleive that god is a real figure, but is contained inside every human. each human has the choice to follow good or evil. each human can choose whichever religion, or no religion at all. the world is run by a supreme being, and that being is the super-conciousness that is the human race.

Harold Camping's website http://www.familyradio.com/index2.html has always been so realiably available. I can't seem to be able to link to it today. I wanted to watch his countdown counter go negative and it looks like his website has gone into hiding (like Harold himself).
Harold Camping had better go into hiding. If his followers find out in 10 more hours (EST US) that he hasn't been raptured ... well, you fill in the blanks. None of his followers have been raptured so the next question is: how forgiving of Harold Camping will his deceived followers be? Especially since he's raked in over 90 million $$$$ the past 5 years.

It is clear in this age of social media that stunts like the Rapture 2011 event can get people talking and hopefully critically debating ideas that matter, like knowledge, truth, and belief. It is my sincere hope that those devastated the Rapture didn't happen are able to pick up their lives and move forward as productive members of society.
For an alternative to living in fear (as some have clearly shown in their posts leading up to yesterday's non- event), why not consider secular humanism, a real 21 century world view that moves beyond belief in the supernatural, acknowledges that rational thought and science offer better explanations of the world around us, and seeks a shared morality amongst real people in the real world. Enjoy life, and bring meaning to those you love, and respect the awesome planet on which we are but one of 2 million species and a part of nature, not apart from nature.

Harold Camping is now 'buying' another five months of 'saving face' by predicting everything is just perfect and that October 21st still stands as the day of world destruction.
He also claims he is innocent from any guilt or misleading of his followers regarding his mistaken rapture date of May 21, 2011.
As CNN stated: He first inaccurately predicted the world would end in 1994. Despite his poor track record, he has gathered many followers. Some gave up their homes, entire life savings and jobs because they believed the world was ending.
Reporters who were allowed to ask questions during the broadcast Monday pressed Camping on this issue, but he would not admit that he bore any blame for his followers' predicaments.
"I don't have any responsibility," Camping said.
A person's name is often tied to what that person has accomplished during his lifetime. Harold Camping will be remembered for sending his followers camping in their campers (RVs). And when asked about what role he played when the campfire went out he simply stated: "I don't have any responsibility".
The Bible says you reap what you sow. Harold Camping has sown his own ideas as being the Word of God (i.e. "the Bible guarantees it"). As a result, Harold Camping will reap only more disillusionment and heartache in the days ahead.
I'm not going to spend any more time posting comments on Harold Camping as he has clearly shown me that he is not a prophet of God. I'm just so thankful to God that I never ran into this guy when I was searching for the Truth from the Bible.
